two masses of a gold weight 3318g and 3054g respectively are to be made into medals of same size. what's the weight of the largest possible medal?

so basically what we need to do here is to make two medals each of same size
so what we do is we add 3318+3054
=6372
Now the total weight is 6372
So we divide it into 2 to get two medals of maximum weight
=6372/2
=3186
