Answer:

amount of work done by the first men in one day=1/4

amount of work done by the second man in one day=1/6

amount of work done by both together in a day

1/4+1/6=5/12

time taken to complete the work together is 12/5=2.4 days

Answer:

if one man could do work in 4 day than it work 1/4 in a day and another in 1/6 day so if they work both then 1/4 + 1/6 = 5/ 12 day = 12/5 =2.4 days
