Two men can do a piece of work in 6 hours and 4 hours respectively after the first has worked for 2 hours he is done by the other by when should the work be completed

A = 6 hours

B = 4hours

total unit of work = 24

for 1 hour,

A = 4unit = 1 hour

= 8 unit = 2 hours

remaining unit = 24 - 8 = 16

for 1 hour,

B = 6 unit = 1hour

1 unit = 1/6

16 unit = 16/6

= 8/3

= 2 fraction 2/3 ans.
