Two mens are pushing an object with 200 N and 300 N respectively. If and opposite force of 700 N approaching from another side, then find the Resultant force and it's direction.
2. If 1000 Pascal pressures applied over 1000 cm^2 area then find the amount of force.

Heya.......!!!!

Q. 1 ) ♦ the total force by which 2 person's are pushing the block are = 200 N ( say F1 ) and 300 N ( say F2 ) .

Another force of 700 N ( say F3 ) is applied from opposite direction ,,,,, So the :--

➡ Resultant Force => ( F1 + F2 ) - F3

•=> 500 - 700 =>> - 200 N

➡ Resultant Force = - 200 N . ( -ve sign shows that the Resultant Force is in Opposite direction .

---------------------------------------------------

Q. 2 ) ♦ This question is Simple ,,we can easily solve it by applying the formulae P = F/A

Given in the question :--
• P = 1000 pascal
• A = 1000 cm^2. =>> 1000/10000 = 1/10 m^2

=> F = PA = 1000 × 1/10 = 100 N .

➡ Force = 100 N .

Hi there !!
Here's your answer

Given that ,
2 men are pushing the object with the force 200N ( F1) and 300N ( F2)
So,
total force exerted by the two men
= F1 + F2
= 200N + 300N
= 500N
But,
It is given that an opposite force of 700N(F3) is applied to this force
So,
The resultant force = (F1 + F2) - F3

= 500N - 700N
= -200N

Thus,
the resultant force is -200N (or 200N in opposite direction) .
The direction will be opposite as of the motion due to presence of the ' - ' sign in the resultant force.

2.
Given,
Pressure (P) = 1000 Pa
Area of 1000cm² = 1/10m²

We know,
Pressure = Force/area of contact

1000 = Force / 1/10

Thus,
the force is 100 Newton
