Answer:

Difference = 7

Sum = 31

Let the first natural number be x

Second number be x -7

∴x + x -7 =  31

2x - 7 = 31

2x = 31 + 7

2x = 38

x = 38/2

x = 19

Larger number is 19

second number:

x - 7

= 19 -7

= 12

Answer:

Let the larger number be x and smaller as x-7

BTP,

x+x–7=31

=2x–7=31

=2x=31+7

=2x=38

=x=38÷2

=x=19.

Therefore,

Large number=x=19×1=19

Smaller number=x–7=19–7=12.

Check your sum,

19+12=31

Difference between 19 and 12 is also 7

19 is there larger number

12 is the smaller number.

HOPE IT HELPS ✌️✌️✌️.
