Answer:

5 times will they blink at the same  time.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Two neon lights are turned on at the same time. One blinks every 4 seconds and the  other blinks every 6 seconds.

To find : In 60 seconds, how many times will they blink at the same  time?

Solution :

Two neon lights are turned on at the same time.

One blinks every 4 seconds.

In 60 seconds,

One blinks \frac{60}{4}=15 times.

i.e. In 60 seconds one neon light blinks 15 times.

Other blinks every 6 seconds.

In 60 seconds,

Other blinks \frac{60}{6}=10 times.

i.e. In 60 seconds other neon light blinks 10 times.

When they blink at the same time is 15=10=5.

i.e. 5 times will they blink at the same  time.
