so,the numbers are 5/8*18=11.25
and 3/8*18=6.75
so,the numbers are 5/8*18=11.25

let the required numbers be 5x and 3x
therefore their sum : 5x+ 3x = 8x
now , for 1 no.we have
=5x/8x X 18
= 11.25
for 2nd no. , we have
=3x/8x X 18
=6.75
