Let the common multiple be x
Bigger no. = 7x
Smaller no.= 4x
=> 3(7x) + 2(4x) = 87
=> 21x + 8x = 87
=> 29x = 87
=> x =87/29
so, x= 3
Bigger no. = 7x = 7*3 = 21
Smaller no. = 4x = 4*3 = 12
