Two number are such that first number is 5 times the second no. If 10 is added both the no. then first no. is 3 times the second.. find the two no.

let 1 no.=x
another no.=5x
according to question,
3(x+10)=5x+10
3x+30=5x+10
3x-5x=10-30
-2x=-20
2x=20
x=20/2
x=10(one no.)
5x=50(another no.)

Just because two things are equal doesn't mean they're equivalent ... It is equal to 5 times 3 but not equivalent. ... The first is a string whereas the second is a .
