Let the numbers= 5x & 4x resp.

A..T.Q., 5x+4x=54

9x=54

x=54÷9

x= 6      Put this value in the above numbers

5x= 5(6)=30

4x= 4(6)=24

Hence,the 2 numbers are 24 & 30.
