Two numbers are in ratio 2:5 if 16 is added to both numbers the ratio will be 1:2 what are the two numbers

Let the common factor be X So numbers will be 2X,5X When 16 us added the new ratio is 1:2 So Smaller number is equal to half the bigger one or vice versa. 2*(2X+16)=5X+16 4X+32=5X+16 X=16 Numbers are 32,80.
