3x+7/5x+7 = 11/16
using cross multiplication.
16(3x+7) = 11( 5x + 7)
48x + 16*7 = 55x + 11*7
16*7 - 11*7 = 55x - 48x
7(16-11) = 7x
x = 5
therefore, the two numbers are
3x = 3*5 = 15
5x = 5*5 = 25
