Answer:
let the no be x and y
then,
x/y = 2/3
3x= 2y
3x-2y = 0. eq 1
and
x+5/y+5 = 5/7
7x+35 = 5y + 25
7x-5y = -10. eq 2
now
3x-2y = 0. multiplying it by 7
21x-14y = 0. eq 3
and
7x-5y = -10. multiplying it by 3
21x - 15y = -30. eq 4
now subtracting eq 2 from eq 1
21x-14y =0
21x-15y = -30
- + +
y = 30
now putting the value of y in eq 3 we get :-
7x -5×30 = -10
7x - 150 = - 10
7x = 150 - 10
7x = 140
x = 20
hence x = 20 and y = 30.
