let 1 number be x
and 2nd number be y

ratio of numbers
x/y = 3/5
5x = 3y
x = 3y/5

when the numbers increased by 10
ratio is 5 /7
x +10/ y +10 = 5/7
5x + 50 = 7y + 70
5x -  7y = 70-50
5x - 7y = 20
putting x = 3y/5
5 * 3y /5 -7y = 20
3y - 7y = 20
-4y = 20
y = -5
x= 3y/5
x = 3 * -5 /5
x = -3
numbers are -3 and -5
