let \: the \: two \: numbers \: be \: 4x \: and \: 7x \\ then \: according \: to \: question \\   \frac{4x + 4}{7x  + 4}  =  \frac{3x}{5x}  \\ 5x(4x + 4) = 3x(7x + 4) \\ 20 {x}^{2}  + 20x = 21 {x}^{2}  + 12x \\ 20 {x}^{2}  - 21 {x}^{2}  + 20x - 12x = 0 \\  -  {x}^{2}  + 8x = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  - 8x = 0 \\ x(x - 8) = 0 \\ x = 8
