Let the first no. = 5x

So, the second no. =6x

According to the question,

5x + 6x =198

11x =198

x =198/11

x = 18

So, first no. = 5*8=40

then, second no.=6*8=48

Answer:

If two numbers are there in the ratio of 5:6. And the sum of the number is 198. Let the 2 numbers be 5x and 6x

Step-by-step explanation:

5x + 6x = 198

11x = 198

X= 198/11

X=18

Therefore the first number is 5x= 5*18=90

And the second number is 6x= 6*18=108
