let first no. =5y
other no.=7y
sum of no.= 84
according to question
5y + 7y = 84
12y = 84
y = 84/12
y= 7
so first no. = 5y = 5×7= 35
other no. = 7y = 7×7= 49
other no.=7y
sum of no.= 84
