here's the solution

let the no.be x

so first no.20x

other no.16x

their difference is 10

ATQ

20x-16x=10

4x=10

x=10/4

x=5/2

so now we can find smallest no.

hope it helps you

《《Here is your answer》》

______________________________

Let,

the no. are 20x and 16x

so that their ratio is 20:16

Now,

given that their difference is 10

then,

20x - 16x = 10

4x = 10

x = 10/4

therefore the no. are

20x = 20 × 10/4 = 50

16x = 16 × 10/4 = 40

The smaller number is "40".
