Two numbers are in the ratio of 3:5 and if 10 be subtracted from each of them , the remainders are in the ratio of 1:5 , find the numbers.

3x-10 +4x-10= 1+5
3x+4x -10- 10=6
7x-20=6x
7x-6x=20
x = 20
3x=20×3=60
5x=20×5=100
