Step-by-step explanation:

long method-

if num. 3x & 5x

(3x+10)/(5x+10) = 5/7

4x = 20

x = 5

number are, 15 & 25

short method-

3 : 5

+10 +10

5 : 7

------------------------

35-25 R === 70- 50

R ==== 5

num- 15 & 25

Step-by-step explanation:

x/y =3/5. equation. (1)

x+10/y+10 =5/7 equation. (2)

From equation (1)

x/y =3/5 =x+6/y+10

Taking ratio

x+10/x+6 = 25/21

x+10/(x+10)-(x+6)= 25/25-21

x+10/4 =25/4

x+10 =25

x=15

From equation (1)

y=25
