using law of conservation of momentum
m1u1+m2u2=m1v1+m2v2
(0.1)(2)+(0.2)(1)=(0.1)(1.67)+(0.2)(v2)
0.2+0.2=0.167+(v2)/5
0.4=0.167+(v2)/5
0.233=(v2)/5
thus we have that
v2=1.165
m1u1+m2u2=m1v1+m2v2
(0.1)(2)+(0.2)(1)=(0.1)(1.67)+(0.2)(v2)
0.2+0.2=0.167+(v2)/5
0.4=0.167+(v2)/5
0.233=(v2)/5
thus we have that
v2=1.165
