Two objects A and B are moving with the velocity 24 m/s and 8 m/s respectively in same direction, then what is the magnitude of relative velocity of object A with respect to B?

object A: 24m/s

object B:8m/s

so relative velocity of object A with respect to B is = A - B

this equals to 24-8=16

The logic is that whenever you take a frame of refrence , in this case we assume it to be stationary so we subtract its speed from the other object
