Two Objects 'A' and 'B', of masses 10kg and 50 kg respectively, are moving with the same speed along the straight line. Which one would need greater force to stop it? And Why?

therefore

acceleration of A = acceleration of B

therefore

the force depends on the mass

since the mass of B is greater, the force required to stop it will also be greater
