Heat is not transferd because When two bodies with different temperatures are in thermal contact heat flows from hot body to cold body until they get same temperatures this is known as thermal equilibrium. So the heat is not transferd in this situation.

When two objects at the ‘same temperature’ one smaller than the other are placed together there will not be any heat transfer that is taking place.

There will be nil heat transfer between the ‘two objects’. The transfer of heat from one body to another solely depends on the ‘temperature’ difference between both the bodies according to Fourier law that governs the law of heat transfer, it does not depend on the ‘size or weight’ of the body.
