Two objects, each of mass 1.5 kg are moving in the same straight line but in opposite directions. The velocity of each object is 2.5 ms−1 before the collision during which they stick together. What will be the velocity of the combined object after collision?

Answer:
by law of conservation of momentum
m1u1 - m2u2 = m1vi - m2v2 {opposite direction}
velocity combined after collision
U(m1-m2)= V(m1m2) { u1 = u2}
U x 0 = V x0 ( masses are equal i.e 1.5kg and the direction is opposite)
velocity after collision is 0
I'm unsure about this answer cause we are not yet done with collisions
hope it's not wrong and sorry if it is
