Answer:

conservation of momentum

m1=50kg

m2=100 kg

u1=3m/s

u2=1.5m/s

v1=2.5m/s

v2=?

using the formula of conservation of momentum

= m1 .u1 + m2u2= m1.v1+ m2v2

= 50×3+100×1.5=50×2.5+100×v2

= 300=225v2

=v2=300/225

v2= 1.3m/s
