Answer:

Answer is below

Explanation:

Mass of 1st object (m) = 2kg

Velocity of 1st object (v) = 2m/s

Mass of 2nd object (m') = 4Kg

velocity of 2nd object (v') = 3m/s

To Find:-

which object had more kinetic energy while it was being lifted.

Solution:-

As we know that , Kinetic Energy is the energy of an object because of its motion.

For 1st object

⟹ K = 1/2mv²

Put the values , we get

⟹ K = 1/2×2×2²

⟹ K = 2²

⟹ K = 4 J

∴ The Kinetic Energy of 1st object is 4Joule.

And For 2nd object

⟹ K = 1/2m'v'²

Put the value,we get

⟹ K = 1/2×4×3²

⟹ K = 2 ×3²

⟹ K = 2×9

⟹ K = 18J

∴ The Kinetic Energy of 2nd object is 18Joule.

∴ Object 2nd have more kinetic energy .
