Given velocity of first body  v1=v 

And velocity of second body, v2=2v 

KE=2mv2

Since masses are same, kinetic energy is directly proportional to the square of the velocity (KE  α   v2) 

Hence, ratio of their kinetic energies is:

KE2KE1=v22v12=(2v)2v2=4v2v2=41=1:4
