Answer:

Obtuse angles

90+x

and 90+y

And Adding both to form supplementary

we get

90+x+90+y=180

I. e.

x+y=0

but It can't be possible

X and y must have some value to make angle obtuse

So....... The Above statement coincides.....

Hope it helps.......

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A pair supplementary angle is the addition of 2 angles summing up to 180 degrees. If you divide 180 by 2, you will get 90 degrees, i.e., your maximum measurement can be 90 degrees for both the angles.

An obtuse angle is an angle with the measurement exceeding 90 degrees, but less than 180 degrees. Therefore, if one of the angles is more than 90 degrees, then the other angle must be less than 90 degrees, i.e., the other angle cannot be an obtuse angle.

Thus, we can conclude that 2 obtuse angles cannot form a pair of supplementary angles.

Hope you got your answer!!!
