Two oxides of a metal contain 63.2% and 69.62% of the metal.
The specific heat of the metal is 0.117. What are the formulae
of the two oxides?​

approximate atomic mass=6.4/0.117= 54.7

for the first oxide 63.2g metal combines with 36.8g oxygen 54.7g metal combines with

36.8×54.7/63.2= 32 oxygen

so one mole of atom of metal combines with 2 mole of atom of O formula in Mo2

for second oxide 69.62g metal combines with 30.38g oxygen

54.7g metal combines with

30.38×54.7 / 69.62= 24g oxygen

so one mole atom of metals combines with 1.5 mole atoms of O formula in M2O3
