so now here ab would be diameter

so now use area of circle =pi r square

so 4pi=pi r square

so eliminate pi on both sides we get

r square=4

ie taking square roots on both sides we get r=2 or r=-2

but as radius dimensions are negative r=-2 is absurd

thus r=2 cm

so we know that diameter=2×radius

thus ab is diameter,,

ab=2×2

ab=4

hence value of ab is 4 cm
