Given info : two particles are released for same height at t = 0 sec and t = 2 seconds respectively.
To find : the distance between both particles at t = 4sec
Solution : case 1 : first particle released from a height h at t = 0,
So after 4 sec ,
distance covered by it, S = ut + 1/2 at²
= 0 × 4 + 1/2 × 10 × (4)²
= 80 m
Case 2 : 2nd particle released 2 sec after the first particle, so distance covered in (4 - 2) sec by 2nd particle is S' = 0 × 2 + 1/2 × 10 × (2)² = 20 m
So the distance between both the particles at t = 4 sec is (80 - 20) = 60 m
