Momentum of an object =mass×velocity
Since both have equal momentum so

1(v1)=2(v2)

[v1-velocity of 1st object v2-velocity of 2 nd object]
(v1/v2)=(2/1)

Find Ratio of there K.E.
K.Eof 1st object/K.Eof 2nd object
=(1/2m1v1²)/1/2m2v2²
We can also write above equation as
= (1/2m1v1*v1)/(1/2m2v2*v2)
Since m1v1=m2v2
So
We left with
=v1/v2
=2/1

OR 2:1 [ Ratio of their K.E.]

Answer:

Momentum of an object =mass×velocity

Since both have equal momentum so

1(v1)=2(v2)

[v1-velocity of 1st object v2-velocity of 2 nd object]

(v1/v2)=(2/1)

Find Ratio of there K.E.

K.Eof 1st object/K.Eof 2nd object

=(1/2m1v1²)/1/2m2v2²

We can also write above equation as

= (1/2m1v1*v1)/(1/2m2v2*v2)

Since m1v1=m2v2

So

We left with

=v1/v2

=2/1

OR 2:1 [ Ratio of their K.E.]
