The net gravitational force acting on the third particle of mass 1 kg at the origin =

• The force due to 4 kg mass = (G * 4 * 1) / 2 * 2

                                                = G newton force in negative x-direction

• The force due to 8 kg mass = (G * 8 * 1) / 4 * 4

                                                = G / 2 newton force in positive x-direction

• Net gravitational force acting on the third particle of mass 1 kg

                                   = G / 2 newton force in negative x-direction

Note –> value of G = 6.67*10^-11
