GivenTotal length of the rope =11 mIf the rope is cut into 3 piecesLength of the first piece = 2 3/5=13/5 mLength of the second piece =3 3/10=33/10 mWe have to find out length of the third piece =x x= total length -(length of the first piece + length of the second piece)=11 - (13/5+33/10)=11-[(26+33)/10]=11/1 - 59/10=(110-59)/10=51\10=5 1/10 mThereforeLength of the remaining piece =x =5 1/10 m
