Two pieces of length 3,1/2 and 5,1/4 are cut off from a rope of 10m long. Is the length of remaining part be 1,1/4? Explain​

remaining part = 10 - (7/2 + 21/4)

= 10 - 35/4

= 5/4

= 1,1/4
