A= 10 cm^2,

L= 40kg

P= F/A ; F= mg => 4×10= 400kg

P = 400/ 20×10^-4

= 240 × 10^14

= 2 × 10^5 N/m^2.

10 cm2 =0.001 m2

total area = 0.002 m2

pressure=force/area

force=mass * acc.

f=40*10    (taking  g as 10 m/s2)

p=400/0.002

p=200000 pa
