two pipes A and B can fill a tank in 10 minutes and 15 minutes respectively and another pipe C can empty it in 12 minutes. lf these pipes are opened alternatively for 1 minutes each. Beginning with first, in how much time will the tank be full?​

Now, let in x intervals of 3min the whole tank is filled.

1/12+1/12+1/12....=1

Total Time required to fill the tank = 3x12=36min
