Answer: Let capacity of tank be x litre

Rate at which first pipe fills the tank

= x/ (25/3) = 3x/25

Rate at which second pipe fills the tank

= x/ (25/2) = 2x/25

Rate at which thrid pipe drains water = 162 lite/min

Net Rate at which water gets drained = 162 - 3x/25 -2x/25 = 162 - x/5

Water drained in 4 minutes

= 4*(162 - x/5) = x

648- 4x/5 = x

648 = 9x/5

x = 360 litre

Answer:

On basis of efficiency

M=25/3. +12

N=25/2. 100. +8

M+n+o=4. - 25

O= -45

45=162l

1=3.6l

100=360l
