Speed of Rohit is 100 km/h

Speed of Mohit is 75 km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the speed of Mohit be x and the speed of Rohit be y

Let the distance from City A to C be d

Then,

The time taken by Rohit in reaching City C = d/y

or, d/y = 1

or, d = y

Time taken by Mohit in reaching City C = d/x

or, d/x = 1 + 1/3

or, y/x = 4/3

Time taken in reaching from City A to City B is equal but Mohit started 1 hour late

Thus,

300/x = 300/y + 1

\implies \frac{300}{x}=\frac{300}{4x/3}+1

\implies 300=\frac{900}{4}+x

\implies 300=225+x

\implies x=75 km/h

Therefore,

y=\frac{4\times 75}{3}

\implies y=100 km/h

Therefore,

Speed of Rohit is 100 km/h

Speed of Mohit is 75 km/h

Hope this helps.
