Answer: 105°

Here, we will use the laws of reflection to solve the problem,

(i) The principle states that when the light rays falls on the smooth surface, the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence.

(ii) the incident ray, the reflected ray, and the normal to the surface all lie in the same plane

Explanation: Here, light ray is inclined at 30° at m1, and gets reflected back making an angle 30° ,

So, it will make 60° with normal after striking on mirror m2, (by the law of sum of angle of triangle)

Hence, actual angle (x) is (180-(45 + 30))° = 105°

x= 105°
