two plot of land have same parameter .one is a square while the other is a rectangle of lenght 70 meter ànd breadth 56 meter .which has greater area and by how much​

for the rectangular field

perimeter-

2(70+56) = 252m

area

70x56 = 3920 sqm...(I)

for square field

perimeter = 252 m (as per question)

each side = 63 m

area

63^2 =3969 sqm...(II)

now comparing (I) & (II)

we get the square is slightly bigger by (3969-3920) = 49 square meter
