HEY MATE!!!

here is what you r looking for,

breadth of the rectangle=70m

length of the rectangle=56m

perimeter of rectangle=2×(l+b).

=2 (70+56)

=2 (126)

=252m

ATQ,

perimeter of rectangle plot= perimeter of the square plot,

LET THE LENGHT OF SIDE BE "A".

4a=252

a=63

So the side of the square will be 63m

NOW THE AREA OF RECTANGLE PLOT=70×56=3920

ARE OF THE SQUARE PLOT=63×63=3969

therefore, square plot had more area by 49m^2

Solution :

We have Provided with two plot of land of same perimeter . One is a Square While the other one is a rectangle also We have the length and breadth 70 m and 56 m of a rectangle respectively . We need to find which has greater area and by how much ?

*We Know that* ,

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

*Substituting the Values in the formula*

⇒ 2 ( 70 + 56 )

⇒ 2( 126)

⇒ 252 m

*According to the Question*

Perimeter of the rectangular Plot is equal to perimeter of Square plot

Let the length of the Side be x

⇒ 4x = 252

⇒ x = (252/4)

⇒ x = 63 m

*Finding area of the rectangle*

Area of the rectangle = Length * Breadth

⇒ 70 * 56

⇒ 3920 m^2

*Finding area of the Square Plot*

Area of Square = Side * Side

⇒ 3969 m^2

*Finding the area increased by how much*

Area of Square - Area of rectangle

⇒ 3969 - 3920

⇒ 49 m^2

Therefore , Area of square is Greater than area of the rectangle by 49 m^2
