two plots of land have same perimeter one is a square of side 60 while the other is a rectangle whose breadth is 1.5 Dam which floor has the greater area and by how much​

perimeter of square= 4a=perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+b)____(i)

4a= 60×4cm

2(L+1.5)cm

then from equ,(i)

60 \times 4 = 2(l + 1.5) \\  =>  240  = 2l + 3 \\  => 2l = 240 - 3 \\    => 2l = 237 \\   => l = 237 \div 2 \\ 118.5cm

Now area of square floor=

=60×60

=3600cm²

and area of rectangular floor =B

=118.5×1.5=177.75cm²

thus square floor has greater area by (3600-177.75=)3422.25cm²
