let the breadth be x

256=2 (80+x)
256÷2=80+x
128=80+x
x=256-128
breadth=128m
area of the square =side×side
=64×64
=4096m
area of rectangle=80×28
=2240
square field will have the larger area than rectangle
by,
4096-2240
