Given :

Two points P and Q are maintained at the potentials of 10 V and −4 V respectively.

To Find :

Work done in moving 100 electrons from P to Q .

Solution :

We know , work done in moving a charge q is given by :

W=q(V_f-V_i)     ......( 1 )

Here :

q = 100e=100\times ( - 1.6\times 10^{-19})\ C\\\\q=-1.6\times 10^{-17}\ C

Putting all value in equation 1 :

We get :

W=-1.6\times 10^{-17}\times (-4-10)\\\\W=1.6\times 14\times 10^{-17}\ J\\\\W=2.24\times 10^{-16}\ J

Therefore , this is the required solution .
