Two poles of 10 m and 15 m stand upright on a plane ground.If the distance between there top is 13m.Find the distance between there feet

yeah considering the difference between two poles which is 5
so now
let us consider
distance between the top of two poles = hypotunese=13
height will be 5
applying pythogorus theorem
let base be X
x ^{2}  + 5 ^{2}  =  {13}^{2}  \\  {x}^{2}  = 169 - 25 \\ x ^{2}  = 144 \\ x = 12

which gives base ie the separation as 12m

See the figure care fully i cut CD at E such that ED become equal to AB then join AtoE  now CE become 5 m AC given as distance at top 3m .now applying( Pythagoras theorem), we get answer 4m
