two positive integers have a product of 50. one integer is twice the other. what is the smaller number?

One integer is twice the other.

So if one is x then the other will be 2x

Their product = 2x*x = 2x² = 50

x² = 50/2 = 25

x = √25 = 5

So the other number = 2*5 = 10

The smallest number = 5
