Two rectangular parks dimensions 12m by 4m and 6m by 8m are recently. Constructed.both the rectangle are required to be fenced.if it takes 3 rounds to fence each park,find the total length of the wire required to fence both parks.also find the cost of fencing the two parks at the rate of #17 per metre.

Perimeter of rectangle 1= 2(12+4)
2(16) = 32 cm
Perimeter of rectangle 2= 2(6+8)
2(14) = 28 cm
Total length of wire for rectangle 1=3(32)=96cm
Total length of wire for rectangle 2=3(28)=84cm
Cost of fencing for 1 m= 17
96+84m=17×180
=3060rs.
