two resistance of 5 ohm and 10 ohm are connected in series for compare the current in both the resistance

when connected in series :

Rs=5+10=15 ohm

when connected in parallel :

1/R=1/5+1/10

1/R=2+1/10

Rp=3.33 ohm

Rs>Rp
